Today’s matchup between Pakistan and New Zealand, which will be the fifth and final T20I of the series, will take place at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.

The fourth T20I between the two sides ended in disappointment with no outcome as the match was called off owing to anticipated rain and hail. However, the five-match series has so far been filled with drama and excitement, with Pakistan taking a 2-1 lead.

Players from the national T20I team have reportedly arrived back in Islamabad, the country’s capital.

They left for their respective hometowns during the night after the fourth T20I game. But now that they have returned to Islamabad, it is clear that the match preparations are well under way. The team hotel is where they have reported.

Pakistan will be seeking to win the series by maintaining their winning streak in today’s last T20I. The hosts had easily won the first two games of the series, but New Zealand responded by winning the third game in Lahore by a slim margin of four runs.

With both sides hoping to conclude the series on a strong note, the series’ final game promises to be an exciting contest.
