Pakistan is one of the most ‘dangerous’ countries: US President Biden

United States President Joe Biden has claimed that Pakistan may be “one of the most dangerous countries in the world” and that its nuclear arsenal was “without cohesiveness.”

On Saturday, the US President gave these remarks in light of the evolving geopolitical landscape internationally.

Biden was speaking at a reception for the Democratic congressional campaign committee on Thursday.

Biden was quoted in a transcript of the speech that was posted on the White House website as saying, “… And what I think is maybe one of the most dangerous nations in the world: Pakistan, Nuclear weapons without any cohesion.”

The US President’s comments have come as a shocker for many analysts who were predicting better diplomatic relations with the United States after the formation of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) led by PM Shehbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto as Foreign Minister.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also met President Biden while he was in the United States to deliver his speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Pakistan’s foreign office has given no statement regarding Biden’s comment on Pakistan’s nuclear capabilities; neither any government official has made any remarks.
