The Pakistan Sports Board has refused to grant a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the Pakistan Football Federation regarding the departure of the national women’s football team to Singapore.
There are scheduled matches between the women’s football teams of Pakistan and Singapore on July 15th and 18th. According to reports, the Pakistan women’s football team was supposed to travel to Singapore on July 13th for the scheduled matches.
The Pakistan Sports Board stated that all the necessary documents for obtaining the NOC should have been submitted six weeks before the event, as per the federation’s requirements.
Reports mentioned that the Pakistan Sports Board apologized for the delay in responding to the NOC request from the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), citing the Eid holidays as the reason for the delay. They mentioned that the NOC request was received by the Pakistan Sports Board on July 3rd, which was late, and it would not be possible to proceed with the NOC.
