Babar Azam has said that after four consecutive victories Pakistan will also win the final of the T20 World Cup.

According to AFP, the 2009 champions lost to India and Zimbabwe on the last ball in the opening matches of the current World Cup but they made a comeback in the tournament. Pakistan will play the final with England at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday.

“We lost the first two matches but we did well in the four matches after that,” Babar Azam said at a press conference at the Melbourne Cricket Ground one day before the match.

AFP has stated in the report that although England looks strong Babar Azam certainly enjoys the advantage because of the fast bowlers, especially in the six overs of the Power play.

Babar Azam said that the England cricket team is strong and its victory against India was proof of their strength. He said that their strategy was to follow the plan and win the final based on the performance of our fast bowlers. He also said that power play has to be taken advantage of and it will be necessary to get as many wickets as possible.

On the other hand, the final match of the T20 World Cup is expected to be affected by rain and heavy rain is predicted in Melbourne on Sunday. Despite fears that the final may be affected by rain, the organizers have been hopeful that at least 10 overs of play will bring the deciding match to fruition.

If the final of the tournament starts on Sunday and is not completed due to rain it will resume on Monday. If the game is not possible at all due to rain on Sunday it will start on Monday and efforts will be made to complete it by evening.
