Pakistan’s celebrates Youm-e-Takbeer with national unity 

Youm-e-Takbeer is being observed on Sunday with great national passion to remember the historic nuclear tests that took place in 1998 at Chaghi, Balochistan.

In responseto India’s nuclear bomb tests on May 11 and 13, 1998, at Pokhran in the Indianstate of Rajasthan, Pakistan conducted nuclear tests at Chaghai in Balochista non May 28, 1998, becoming the seventh nuclear power in the world on this dayand the first in the Muslim world.

Pakistan’sdefence is unbeatable thanks to the tests’ success.

Early in theday, special prayers were said for the advancement and prosperity of Pakistan,the supremacy of the constitution, and the defeat of terrorists.

In his message on Youm-e-Takbeer, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that for the country to advance in the same spirit and achieve economic independence.

He stated the conviction that we will make Pakistan an economic force by cooperation,diligence, and unwavering confidence.

In reactionto India’s nuclear blasts, the people of Pakistan revealed the invincibility of their defence by igniting five nuclear explosions, the Prime Minister said.

The Armed Forces of Pakistan have also paida rich tribute to the brilliant minds that conceived and achieved this accomplishment under daunting challenges.

In a statement released, the Inter Services Public Relations said the entire Pakistani nation celebrates the Silver Jubilee of Youm-e-Takbir today and commemorates the remarkable achievement of establishing Credible Minimum Deterrence.

It also said this achievement has reshaped the power dynamics in our region.
