The economic revival plan for the country has been prepared and a “Special Investment Facilitation Council” (SIFS) has been established to overcome the obstacles.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired a meeting to prepare a national plan for Pakistan’s economic revival.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Syed Asim Munir, federal and provincial ministers, chief ministers and government officials attended the meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The meeting discussed important steps to revive the economy.
According to a statement issued regarding the meeting, a national plan for Pakistan’s economic revival has been prepared, and for this, a SIFS has been established, this council will remove obstacles in the way of foreign investment.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired the first meeting of the council, in which it was decided that timely decision-making regarding investment and projects would be ensured, while coordination would be brought between the federation and the provinces, and under the project, the country’s real potential would be harnessed in various sectors including agriculture, energy.
