Pakistan’s pride Malala Yousafzai goes Hollywood

Malala Yousafzai, the youngest winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, is preparing to work with Hollywood to make three movies after collaborating with Apple Inc.

According to Variety, Malala is a storyteller in addition to being an author and an activist because she has always had a serious view on life and has created an image that causes people to always take her seriously.

In an effort to make the world a more welcoming place, she is prepared to share her playful side.

Malala currently resides in London rather than in her parents’ home in the city of Birmingham, England.

The Oxford University graduate is also the CEO of Extracurricular, a film and television production firm. The initial launch of Extracurricular initiatives is now being developed at Apple TV.

Malala said that Hollywood frequently tells you, either implicitly or overtly, that the characters are too young, too dark, or too Muslim, or that you shouldn’t make any more shows about people of colour once the first one has been produced.

Malala insists that must change. I identify as female, Muslim, Pashtun, Pakistani, and someone of color. In addition, I watched Succession, Ted Lasso, and Severance, all of which had white male actors in the main roles.

If viewers can watch such programs, then they should, in my opinion, be allowed to watch programs created by people of colour, as well as those that they produce, direct, and star in. I’ll make it happen since it is something that is doable.

Malala’s business, which also worked on the Michael Keaton-starring Worth and the kid’s show Ada Twist, Scientist, won the Oscar for best documentary feature for the film American Factory in 2020.

Additionally, Extracurriculars also has a Netflix partnership.
