Supreme Court has moral authority, if elections are held like this no one will accept, media talk outside Apex Court

Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that parliament should play a role if the judges of the Supreme Court happen to come face to face.

Talking to the media outside the Supreme Court, Interior Minister said that he wanted justice from the court and the role of the Supreme Court for the rule of law in the country was crucial.

Rana Sanaullah said that people have objections to the injustices that happened earlier. The judges are also saying that the decision was by 4-3 majority. He said that it was not an internal matter of the court. Even today, it is requested that suo motu be taken to the full court.

The home minister further said that the Supreme Court has moral authority. If elections in two assemblies are held like this, no one will accept it. He said that the elections should be held simultaneously in all provinces under the set-up of the caretaker government. He said that Punjab has 50 percent seats.

Rana Sanaullah said that this was a matter of handing over the country to permanent chaos. He said that a bill was introduced in parliament yesterday and today hopefully it will be passed. Under this bill, no Baba Rehmate will prove to be suffering. The Supreme Court of Pakistan will guide the nation.

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that it was the duty of all to follow the law that parliament makes.

He was questioned whether the parliament was so weak that politicians had to come to court. In response, the Interior Minister said that decisions were being taken in parliament.
