The National Seismic Monitoring Centre has reported that a 5.2 magnitude earthquake occurred on Monday morning in several areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.
The center of the earthquake, which had a depth of 184 km and occurred at roughly 9:35 p.m., was in Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush area.
There was no recorded loss of life or property.
Tremors were detected in the federal capital, Swat, Upper Dir, Lower Dir, Bajaur, Chitral, Mardan, and Malakand.
Provincial Disaster Management Authority in KP also provided the information on social media platform X.
