PDM government running away from electoral field, Imran Khan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) government was running away from the electoral field fearing the people.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan stated in a statement on Twitter that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had proven that it was the ‘B’ team of the imported government and its patrons by not complying with the order of the Islamabad High Court (IHC).

Imran Khan further said that the PDM government, afraid of the people, was running away from every electoral field. He stated that the right to vote was a fundamental democratic principle and the PTI firmly adhered to it.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan said that by not following the decision of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has once again shown that it was hand in glove with the imported government and its facilitators.

It is important to note that the IHC had ordered yesterday to hold the local body elections of Islamabad today as per the previous announcement of ECP.

But the government and ECP had said that due to the increased number of union councils number in the federal capital elections will be held later.
