Pentagon releases new UFO files

The United States Department of Defense has released the second batch of previously classified UFO-related documents, revealing unusual reports of glowing fireballs, disc-shaped objects, and mysterious green orbs that some witnesses linked to healing phenomena.

The newly released collection contains 222 files, including testimonies from multiple individuals and detailed investigation records. One of the most notable files features 116 pages of reports and observations gathered between 1948 and 1950 at a secret facility in New Mexico, an area long connected to UFO speculation and military secrecy.

The documents also describe 209 sightings reported near military bases and sensitive defense locations. Several witnesses claimed they saw unidentified flying objects moving at extremely high speeds or displaying unusual flight patterns that current known aircraft cannot easily explain.

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said the American public deserves access to the information, adding that the time has come for greater transparency regarding unexplained aerial phenomena.

Despite the excitement surrounding the release, experts cautioned that the first phase of the files did not provide conclusive evidence of alien life or advanced extraterrestrial technology. Researchers say most cases still lack enough proof to confirm whether the objects came from outside Earth or resulted from secret military projects, natural phenomena, or misidentified aircraft.
