Former federal defense minister Pervaiz Khattak has parted ways with the PTI, announcing the formation of a new political party in a press conference with several prominent leaders of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today.
According to sources, Pervaiz Khattak has separated from the PTI and is expected to announce a new political party today.
In the last few days, Pervaiz Khattak has met many former MPAs, the former federal minister will hold a press conference with many important leaders of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Pervaiz Khattak’s two sons are still in the PTI. Sources say that the political future of the two sons will also be decided by their father.
Talking to local journalists in Nowshehra yesterday, Pervaiz Khattak had said that his first priority was the formation of his own political party. Consultations and file work with political colleagues are underway for the new party.
Pervaiz Khattak further said that he has left the PTI, will not do any more politics under the banner of PTI again.
It may be recalled that the PTI had recently terminated the primary membership of Pervaiz Khattak and expelled him from the party.
