PM calls coalition partners’ meeting for consultation

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has summoned a consultative meeting of coalition leaders tomorrow.

The Prime Minister has convened a meeting of coalition leaders on Wednesday in which all coalition parliamentary leaders will participate.

According to sources, the meeting will be held at 12:30 pm tomorrow at the Prime Minister’s House in which the current political situation will be considered and the future strategy will be prepared.

The meeting will discuss talks with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) along with the ongoing hearing in the Supreme Court of Pakistan over elections in Punjab.

The legal team including the Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar and Attorney General of Pakistan Mansoor Usman Awan will brief on the legal aspects of the apex court hearing. While the members of the ruling coalition, who have been nominated into a committee for talks with PTI, will brief on the situation of dialogue and the point of view of other political parties in the coalition government.
