PM Khan calls cabinet meeting

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf submits review petition on Supreme Court’s April 7 decision

Prime Minister Imran Khan called a cabinet meeting as the National Assembly session for a vote of no-confidence against Prime Minister Imran Khan was underway.

According to media reports, the agenda of the meeting is not yet known. Many federal ministers have also said that they had no idea what the reason behind calling this meeting was and that details had not been shared with them as well.

The session of the National Assembly is in process where the opposition is demanding voting on the no-trust motion submitted against PM Khan.

On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has submitted a review petition on Supreme Court’s (SC) recent decision on April 7 to set aside the National Assembly (NA) Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri’s ruling to dismiss the no-trust resolution against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
