Prime Minister Imran Khan has called a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) today at the PM House in the afternoon, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Thursday.
وزیر اعظم نے نیشنل سیکیورٹی کمیٹی کا اجلاس طلب کر لیا، اجلاس آج بعد دوپہر وزیر اعظم ہاؤس میں ہو گا

The NSC meeting will be attended by key federal ministers, the national security adviser, services chiefs and top intelligence officials.
This comes a day after PM Khan decided to present a ‘secret letter’ – that he waved around at the PTI’s March 27 rally – before parliament. The move is seen as an attempt to woo party dissidents, and disgruntled government allies.
The premier shared the letter with his cabinet in a hastily called meeting, which was not attended by government allies – Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) – on Wednesday.
PM Khan also summoned a select few TV anchors and told them that “the language of the letter was threatening and arrogant”. He added that the letters said Pakistan would face dire consequences if the no-confidence motion failed. However, the premier did not share the letter with the media persons at the meeting.
