PM Khan calls on nation to join March 27 rally against ‘dacoits and thieves’

Premier says ‘group of bandits’ have banded together to sell consciences of elected representatives

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday has called on the nation to join him on March 27 to reestablish the government’s stance against the “dacoits and thieves” who had been ruling Pakistan for the last 30 years.

In a special message for the nation on Thursday, the premier said that the “group of bandits” had joined forces in “selling the consciences of elected public representatives”. He said that the nation should inform the opposition that horse-trading being done via black money was “not acceptable”, so that nobody would dare commit these crimes in the future.

The premier called on the public to “stand with the good” and “against evil”, and urged them to show their support for the rally.

Earlier, Senator Faisal Javed Khan tweeted that PM Khan would deliver a crucial message to the nation and invite them to become a part of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s power show in Islamabad on March 27.

After the Supreme Court issued the order that barred political parties from entering the Red Zone in Islamabad, the PTI switched the venue of its scheduled March 27 rally from D-Chowk to Parade Ground.

The party said in a tweet that “the Parade Ground will be more suitable to accommodate the number of people that are expected to participate in the rally”.
