PM Khan to show ‘foreign letter’ to allies and journalists; will address nation today

Prime Minister Imran Khan will be meeting senior journalists and allies of the ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday to discuss the content of the letter that he mentioned in his rally on March 27.

The premier had said in his address to a gathering on March 27 that a letter had been sent to him that was evidence of a foreign conspiracy against his government.

While speaking at the launching ceremony of an electronic passport facility, he said that he would be showing the letter to the journalists and his party allies so the people who were criticizing and saying that all of this was a ‘drama’ could see the reality.

He also claimed that money was pouring from abroad to topple his government and there was strong plotting and planning going on against the foreign policy of Pakistan from the ‘outside’.

PTI’s leader Asad Umar also said that PM Khan was ready to share the content of the letter with the chief justice of Pakistan. He also claimed that only a few people in the civil-military leadership had seen the letter as it was very sensitive information.

While speaking at the event, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said that he had asked the prime minister to not forgive the dissident MNAs. He also said that PM would address the nation later in the day.

The interior minister also said that he was proud of himself that he had supported Imran Khan. While talking about the initiative of E-passport, he said that this would increase tourism in the country.
