PM orders setting up of collection center to collect aid for Turkiye, Syria

The Government of Pakistan has taken another step to help earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.

The Prime Minister ordered the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to set up collection centers in every district to collect aid.

The Prime Minister stressed the urgent arrangement of quality blankets, warm clothes, children’s food, and tents for the victims.

In addition, air corridors had also been set up to send relief materials, while teams and equipment for the 30-bed mobile hospital also reached Turkey.

In addition, the Sindh government also decided to set up relief camps for the victims.

In addition, Balochistan government employees will contribute one to 10 days’ salary to the relief fund.
