Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has given his approval for the nomination of Najam Sethi as the head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), according to sources.
According to sources, a formal notification for the appointment of Najam Sethi as PCB chairman will be issued shortly.
As per sources, four notifications will reportedly be released, the first of which will concern the abolishment of the 2019 cricket board constitution.
Sources claimed that two names nominated by the Prime Minister in 2019 will also be abolished.
The 2014 constitution will be reinstated in the third notice, and a setup to manage the current board will be announced in the fourth notification.
Najam Sethi will replace Ramiz Raja as chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board( PCB).
A few days ago Najam Sethi met Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in which Shahbaz Sharif decided to make Najam Sethi the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Earlier, Najam Sethi worked as chairman of PCB in 2013, 2014, and 2017.
