The consultative meeting chaired by the Prime Minister has ended, in which the strategy of the final round of talks with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was decided.
Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz attended the two-hour long meeting in Model Town Lahore through video link. Atta Tarar, Ayaz Sadiq and other leaders also attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed the political situation in the country and discussed Tuesday’s talks.
The Prime Minister was briefed on the discussions with PTI in the meeting, in which it was told that the government team gave positive suggestions within the constitution and would adopt the same strategy in the final round.
The meeting discussed preparations for possible elections, constituency issues and agreed to take the allies into confidence on elections and talks with PTI.
The meeting was also briefed on the economic and political situation.
The PML-N leaders suggested that full relief should be given to the people before the elections, it is necessary to solve the problems of the constituencies before the elections. On which the Prime Minister said that all possible steps are being taken to provide relief to the people.
