PM Shehbaz promises full facilitation for Saudi investors

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has invited businessmen of Saudi Arabia to invest in different sectors in Pakistan, promising them possible full facilitation.

According to state media, the prime minister addressed a delegation of Saudi investors and businessmen. He assured the Saudi businessmen that they could earn and repatriate profits, and that full security would be ensured for them and their investments.

Shehbaz Sharif in his address said that there was a huge potential of investment in versatile fields like agriculture, minerals, trade, tourism, textile and information technology. He shared his dream of transforming Pak-Saudi mutual cooperation into economic partnership by enhancing the brotherly relations between the two countries.

PM Shehbaz said that Saudi Arabia had always supported Pakistan on all fronts including economic and diplomatic issues. He also said that Pakistan had a huge work force in shape of youth that Saudi investors could benefit from.

Earlier, in the meeting, Saudi investors and businessmen were given a briefing that Pakistan was an emerging country due to investment potential with safe investment opportunities for businessmen. Activation of Pakistan-Saudi Joint Working Groups to facilitate the initiatives was also decided in the conference.
