PM Shehbaz satisfied over record bountiful wheat production

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attributed the country’s record bountiful wheat harvest, which produced 27.5 million metric tonnes, to prompt government actions, the provision of high-quality seed, a disruption in the supply of fertilizer, and the Kissan package.

The Prime Minister praised Allah Almighty for the bounty and expressed his happiness that the country’s output had outperformed that of the preceding 10 years.

According to a news statement from the PM Office Media Wing, the prime minister presided over a meeting to discuss the official level national wheat purchase initiative.

The production of wheat in the current year, its available stock, carryover stocks, and the departmental procurement goals of the federal and provincial governments were all disclosed to the conference.

The minister for national food security Tariq Bashir Cheema, PM’s special assistants Ahad Khan Cheema and Tariq Bajwa, the caretaker Punjab Minister for Industries, and other top officials were present at the meeting.

The Prime Minister commended the minister of food security and other pertinent officials for their actions and expressed his appreciation.

He said that the current administration’s prompt actions and excellent leadership were the reason for the bountiful wheat crop, which was produced despite last year’s tremendous rains and floods.

He congratulated the country for reaching the goal and stated that the administration was developing a plan to increase output the following year.
