PM Shehbaz to raise issue of missing persons with ‘powerful quarters’

Shehbaz Sharif said that development of Balochistan is on his top priorities

Prime Minister Shehbaz said that he will raise the issue of the missing persons in Balochistan with powerful quarters.

He said this at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Kuchlak National Highway in Khuzdar. The premier was on his one-day visit to Quetta. He also had a meeting with the Chief Minister of the province.

Addressing the ceremony, PM Shehbaz said that he held meeting with the leaders of the region who all told him the same thing. He said said that people want a solution to their problems, especially the missing persons issue. He added that addressing the issue was crucial because it created sadness and disappointment in the province.

The premier also said that the development of Balochistan was on his top priorities. PM was on his one-day visit to Quetta. He also had a meeting with the Chief Minister of the province.

Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Communication Maulana Asad Mehmood and Minister for Housing and Works Maulana Abdul Wasey, Minister for Narcotics Shahzain Bugti, Israr Tareen, Acting Governor Jan Muhammad Jamali, Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, provincial ministers, and relevant authorities attended the meeting with the PM.

During the official meetings PM was briefed on the development projects and employment opportunities for the youth.  Many proposals were presented to the PM for the promotion of tourism around the coastal highway and establishment of the professional training centres for the local manpower.
