PML-N to welcome PTI in National Assembly

Discussion over caretaker setup can be held only once mandated tenure expires in August, Sanaullah

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz has stated that they would welcome Imran Khan’s return to Parliament.

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf must revoke their resignation to return to the National Assembly. He responded to PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s comments by saying he would welcome PTI to the National Assembly.

Rana Sanaullah also said that if PTI returns to assembly the Speaker could return their resignations, adding that they were campaigning to bankrupt the country but maintained that any discussion over a caretaker setup could be held only once the mandated tenure of the government expires in August.

Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that let the PTI come to the National Assembly as when they do that the vote of confidence will also be checked. He said that their numbers were complete and there was no threat to the federation posed by dissolving the Punjab Assembly.

Speaking to the media Khawaja Asif responded to a question by saying Nawaz Sharif would arrive in Pakistan as soon as the legal process was through. He said that all arrangements have been in place for Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan has hinted in a discussion with journalists in Lahore that they could go into the National Assembly for talks on caretaker setup.
