A meeting of the Apex Committee of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s Investment Facilitation Council will be held today.
Shehbaz Sharif will preside over the apex committee meeting of the Special Investment Facilitation Council.
Chief Ministers and Federal Ministers will attend the meeting while Army Chief General Asim Munir and military officials will also be present in the meeting.
The meeting will review the steps taken after the establishment of the Apex Committee Council while the recommendations of the Implementation Committee will also be presented.
The Apex Committee will also approve a roadmap for the arrival and facilitation of global investor delegations.
It may be recalled that a few days ago, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had set up an apex committee to revive the country’s economy, which would implement the decisions of the Special Investment Facilitation Council.
The government had announced a major plan for economic revival, which is being described as a bigger and ten-year plan than CPEC.
Sources said that the Apex Committee on Economic Revival will prepare a framework on foreign investment in the country, the Apex Committee will facilitate countries interested in investing in Pakistan.
