SUKKUR: The SSP Kandhkot-Kashmore Irfan Ali i Samo, talking to this reporter denied the media reports that police during the raids recovered the kidnapped SHO Gul Mohamad Mahar and two others .
SSP Samo claimed that heavy contingents of police carried out the extensive search operation in the troubled areas for the fourth consecutive day to recover the kidnapped people and to arrest the gangsters adding he hoped that not only three kidnapped including two cops would be released but those involved in their kidnapping would be brought to the book. “The timid tribal chief and their criminal aides will soon be arrested with the help of police from other districts of Sindh and Punjab.
He alleged that notorious tribal chief Sardar Tegho Khan Teghani was allegedly involved in the incident. He said that after his open challenge to tribal chief to either surrender with kidnappees or be ready for the massive actions, he fled to Punjab to avoid the imminent arrest. “ The police teams during the raids on the dens of Sardar Teghani in Garhi Tegho area recovered three ticktockers/ artists including Arifa, Muskan and Ambreen, who were allegedly abducted from Karachi” he said. He said that recovered girls were handed over to Karachi police after recording their statements.
Here it may be mentioned that SHO of Kashmore Police Station, Gulam Mohammad Mahar, cop Nabi Dad Mangi and Sarwar Chachar were kidnapped by some five days by the gangs of dacoits being patronized by Sardar Teghani and some other outlaws operating in katcha areas.
