The poster for another much-awaited film of Sarmad Sultan Khoosat is out. Titled as ‘Kamli’, the film was announced almost three years back, but couldn’t make it to the cinema screens owing to COVID-19 restrictions.
Now, with the ban having been lifted, quite a contemporary poster for the film has been uploaded on social media, showing two lovers embracing each other while an unkempt creeper grows all over them, signifying a deep-rooted yet carelessly dragged relationship.
The film is supposed to introduce Hamza Khwaja as a mainstream actor, while other notable performers who will be making it to the cast of ‘Kamli’ include Saba Qamar, Sania Saeed, Nimra Bucha and Omair Rana.
The director himself is also back on social media and quite actively so after staying away from it for long, announcing the project with a lot of excitement and a caption saying, “…and love bloomed – brilliant, maddening and yellow!”
Sarmad also said that the teaser for the film would also be released anytime soon.
This is going to be Saba Qamar’s third acting project under the direction of Sarmad Khoosat after the hit serial ‘Pani Jaisa Pyar’ and the popular yet controversial biopic ‘Manto’.
