Poster for Pakistani film ‘Lafangey’ has finally been released after keeping us waiting for almost two years.
News is it that Nazish Jahangir will be playing the leading role in the film, while it also boasts of other top-notch actors such as Sami Khan, Salman Sheikh, Saleem Mairaj and Behroz Sabzwari.
The film promises to be a horror comedy, which has been helmed by Abdul Khaaliq Khan. When the shoot began, news was it that Soniya Hussein would be playing the leading character, but with the new poster released, Nazish Jahangir seems to have replaced Soniya Hussein.
This is also going to be Nazish Jahangir’s first experience of performing for the big screen after a few decent roles for television.
The film is slated to release in summers, and will be a good addition to horror comedies being made in Pakistan for the big screen, another one being ‘Peeche Tou Dekho’.
Fans have to say that the film should be released on a day other than that of Eid, for which a lot of films are already in the pipeline. A different day might invite a larger audience for this film that belongs to a unique genre.
