In a significant development, police teams have apprehended the principal of a private school located in the Gulshan-e-Hadeed area of Malir district in Karachi.

The arrest follows allegations of sexual assault on female teachers and other staff members. The Inspector General of Sindh Police, Dr. Raja Rafat Mukhtar, has taken prompt notice of the case and has requested a comprehensive report from the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir.

The accused, identified as Irfan Ghafoor Memon, was taken into police custody on the orders of SSP Malir Hassan Sardar Niazi. According to SSP Niazi, the suspect is facing accusations of harassment from over 25 teachers, staff, and other women. Additionally, a mobile phone recovered from the suspect contained numerous indecent videos. The report further indicates that multiple complaints had been filed against him in the past.
