Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has further changed the date of its Long March to Islamabad.

Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, Asad Umar, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Yasmin Rashid, Umar Sarfraz Cheema and other PTI leaders attended another consultative meeting at Zaman Park in Lahore.

The consultative meeting of the PTI leadership discussed the details of FIR and the security plans for the Azadi March on Wednesday.

After the PTI meeting, PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi announced extending the long march by one more day. Shah Mehmood said that the long march will leave Wazirabad at 2 pm on Thursday while their full focus was on registering the FIR.

Earlier in a tweet, Fawad Chaudhry had announced about the march that the march will start on Wednesday instead of tomorrow i.e. Tuesday, but this date has been changed later and a new date has been announced.

On the other side, the PTI workers have already started protests by closing the entry-exit points of Islamabad. According to reports the federal capital’s entry-exit points have been closed from multiple places. Capital police and Rangers personnel have been dispatched to get the roads clear.
