Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has expelled former defence minister Pervaiz Khattak, his son Ishaq Khattak and MNA Imran Khattak from the party.

A formal notification has been issued with the signature of PTI Secretary General Omar Ayub regarding the termination of the membership of Ishaq Khattak and Imran Khattak.

The notification issued said the PTI terminated the membership of the two leaders for instigating party members to leave the party.

It may be recalled that Imran Khattak was elected member of the National Assembly on a PTI ticket from Nowshehra, while Ishaq Khattak is the son of former PTI leader Pervaiz Khattak.

The PTI has already terminated the party membership of Pervaiz Khattak, while Pervaiz Khattak along with former Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan has founded his separate party PTI Parliamentarian.
