PTI lawmakers express worry about assembly dissolution

The members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from Multan expressed their worries to the former prime minister Imran Khan on Tuesday regarding the assembly’s dissolution on December 23.

The MPAs expressed their concerns, saying they feared becoming the target of political retaliation if the caretaker system persisted for a long time during a meeting with the PTI chairman.

The ousted premier responded by encouraging them (the legislators) and stating, “With the dissolution of the assembly, you people should not worry. Actually, the PDM should be terrified of the assemblies dissolving.”

Khan emphasized the significance of the general election in rescuing the country from its current situation and stressed how crucial political stability was to economic stability.

While talking about Parvez Elahi, he said that he has his own opinion but he stands firmly behind us.

The PTI legislators chose to confirm their resignations in front of the speaker of the National Assembly (NA) as a result of the dissolution of the assemblies.

According to local media reports citing sources with knowledge of the matter, the 123 PTI legislators will appear before Raja Pervaiz Ashraf to officially announce their resignations from the legislature. The PTI lawmakers will gather for this purpose on December 22 at KP House in Islamabad.
