PTI leader warns of dire consequences over FIRs

Leader of Opposition in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh has come down hard on the government for registering FIRs against his top party leaders and Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed “on false and fabricated charges” and warned of dire consequences over this.

In a press statement issued to media on Sunday, Sheikh said that “imported rulers” were pushing the country towards a very chaotic situation for their vindictive acts of registering FIRs against Imran Khan, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Chudhary Fawad Hussain, Murad Saeed, Shahbaz Gill, Qasim Suri, Sahibzada Jahangir, Aneel Musarrat and others. He accused Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and others of stooping low to take revenge from the PTI leadership.

“It is a really shameful act by the imported rulers to charge a leader like Imran Khan and team members in such a blatant manner,” he commented and warned that people of the country would never accept such charges on their leaders. He said that rulers were terrified after Khan gave the call for a long march towards Islamabad, demanding general elections in the country. Sheikh said that a “gangster from Faisalabad” had been left unbridled to victimize the PTI leaders by implicating them in FIRs on false and concocted charges, and added that now, no power on earth can save the looters and plunderers from the wrath of the patriotic Pakistanis.

“Imran Khan is emerging as the most popular leader of the country ever in the country due to his bold stance for the best interests of the country and Muslim Ummah,” he said. He said the PTI workers were ready to go to any length to teach a lesson to looters and to elect Imran as prime minister for the second time with a thumping majority. He said any move to bring back convicted people like former premier Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif by slashing the conviction would be resisted tooth and nail.
