PTI leaders’ audios regarding Corps Commander House Lahore attack leaked

On social media, a purported audio leak with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders was released and implicated the former governing party in the attack on Lahore’s Corps Commander House on Tuesday.

Following the former prime minister Imran Khan’s arrest in the Al-Qadir Trust corruption case, violent riots broke out practically everywhere in the nation, with enraged demonstrators destroying public property and attacking several military sites.

PTI officials urged its members and supporters to assemble at Lahore’s Corps Commander House, formally known as Jinnah House, in the leaked video and audio messages.

PTI Senator Ejaz Chaudhry was heard informing someone in the allegedly leaked audio clip—possibly his son Ali Chaudhry—that the demonstrators had looted the Corps Commander House and damaged everything inside, down to the flower pots.

Additionally, a new audio leak purporting to be from PTI leaders Sheikh Imtiaz and Sagheer Waraich and asking whether the latter should keep his protests closed or focus on a central location has surfaced.

The protest rally outside the Corps Commander House in Lahore was another topic of discussion between the two leaders.

Imtiaz informed Wariach told that they had gathered at the Corps Commander House. To which Waraich said, “Then we also get there?” Imtiaz replied in the affirmative.
