Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry declared on Thursday that the party would ask Raja Pervez Ashraf for further time to verify the resignations of its MNAs.
In a letter to the speaker, it is requested that he provide a time when assembly members might visit to confirm their resignations once more. To hold new elections on the vacant seats, he continued, they are requesting extra time for the verification.
The former minister of information claimed that PTI MNAs were accused of not attending the legislature to collect their salary, which was brought up in the Supreme Court.
“Judges should check the information they receive from the media.” The truth is that this is just another government deception. No member is receiving a salary, and the resigned members’ salaries have been halted, according to Fawad.
Fawad’s tweet was in response to Justice Mansoor Ali Shah observing that even if PTI MNAs were not attending the National Assembly, they were still being paid while listening to their petition over NAB reforms.

He also noted that the PTI lawmakers had been summoned by the Islamabad High Court to appear before the NA speaker.
