PTI warns of big movement & long march if talks fail

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has hinted about initiating a big movement and long march if talks with the government fail.

PTI leader and former federal information minister Fawad Chaudhary said in a statement on the social media platform Twitter that the party hoped the discussions to be successful but had prepared a plan in case they weren’t.

He announced that PTI will not permit anyone to degrade the Constitution and the people to the level of vermin.

The populace needs to be ready for a sizable movement in the event that the discussions fail, he stressed.

The PTI leader added that a gathering will be held in Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar on Monday (tomorrow) to kick off the campaign. A historic long march will serve as its climax.

Earlier, PTI Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan had announced of holding rallies on May 1.

Imran Khan announced to hold rallies in Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar on Monday. He said that he will lead the rally in Lahore. He also announced the route of the rally. He said that he will lead the rally in Lahore from Liberty to Nasir Bagh. He announced that Shah Mehmood Qureshi will lead the rally in Islamabad and Pervaiz Khattak will lead it in Peshawar.
