Punjab Assembly has dissolved, issue can’t be discussed now: Rana Sanaullah

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has rejected the PTI leader Sibtain Khan’s proposal to save the Punjab Assembly saying that Punjab Assembly has been dissolved and this matter cannot be discussed further.

“It is a constitutional matter and can’t be discussed further,” said Rana.
Rana Sanaullah said that we are ready for elections; the majority of the party including Nawaz Sharif was of the opinion to let Imran Khan dissolve the assemblies.

He said that we will go to the elections; we will participate in the elections to our fullest.

Rana Sanaullah said that the party has appealed to Nawaz Sharif to lead the election campaign of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He further added that he hoped that Nawaz Sharif would accept the party’s appeal and return.

Earlier, Speaker of Punjab Assembly Sibtain Khan suggested that if the opposition talks to us on the date of the general elections, the Assembly can still be saved.
