Punjab, Sindh announce school timings for Ramadan

Schools will open from 7:30-12:30 in Punjab, 7:30-12:00 in Sindh; On Friday they will close one hour early

The Punjab Education Department has changed the hours of operation for the month of Ramadan according to a statement released by the provincial education department on Wednesday.

The schools timing, in Punjab, from Monday through Thursday will be from 7:30 am until 12:30 pm, and on Friday, they will be open until 11:30 am. Different schedules will apply to schools that run in two shifts.

Schools that operate on two shifts basis, will begin at 7:15 am and 12:30 pm and finish at 12:15 pm and 4:30 pm, respectively.

The education department for the Sindh region in the southeast of the nation has released the new Ramadan 2023 times for all educational institutions.

The Sindh School Education and Literacy Department declared that sessions would begin at 7:30 am and last until noon, Monday through Thursday and on Saturday, in the local public and private schools.

Classes will start at 7:30 am and go until 11 am on Friday.

New hours for government offices throughout the holy month have been announced by the federal government.

On the other hand, the Establishment Division has also notified of the office timings for the holy month.

Establishment Division has informed all federally affiliated offices that their hours of operation will be 7:30 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. The office will be open on Friday from 7:30 am until 12:00 pm.
