Rain, wind and thundershowers anticipated throughout country in next 24 hours

In the upcoming 24 hours, rain-wind thundershowers are anticipated in Punjab, Islamabad, Potohar region, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, northeast and east Balochistan, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and south Punjab are also predicted to have sporadic heavy rains (along with sporadic hailstorms).

A seasonal low was located over northeast Balochistan, according the synoptic circumstances. The upper and western regions of the country were also being impacted by a westerly wave.

Rain, wind, and thunderstorms occurred over the past 24 hours in Kashmir, Punjab, Islamabad, the Potohar region, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and north/east Balochistan.

The highest recorded temperatures were 44 °C in Jacobabad, 45 °C in Sibbi, and 44 °C in Nokkundi.
