Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has stated that cooperation between independent states is the only way to answer the US and its allies’ destabilizing strategy.
The president made the comments on Wednesday while speaking with visiting Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev in Tehran.
The US planned a policy of sanctions and destabilization against Iran and Russia.
President Raisi stated that Iran and Russia are prepared to resolve issues and improve their strategic ties in all sectors.
He further reiterated Iran’s steadfast opposition to war and stated that all nations are concerned about the spread of war.
The Russian official updated the Iranian president on the cooperation situation between Iran and Russia in the interim.
As per Russian officials, the two nations are actively collaborating in a variety of areas, including politics, trade, energy, agriculture, and transit.
Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev stated that the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission is working to put the accords in action that the two nations’ presidents previously signed.
He also added that having a multi-polar system is beneficial for all states.
