Rana Sanaullah warns PTI of strict action in case of long march

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that “strict action” would be taken against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf if they started another long march.

The interior minister made these remarks during a press conference along with other members of the federal cabinet.

Sanaullah said that the incident that took place on May 25 was an attack on the centre. He also termed Azadi March an anti-state conspiracy and said that resources from the KP government were used for a specific political activity.

He said that there were just a few thousand people present at D-Chowk against PTI’s claim regarding the strength of people. “We have video proof from the Swabi jalsa where armed people attended the public gathering,” he added.

He also said that PTI workers came to the capital to create chaos and this march was the ‘Fitna and Fasad’ march. He added that party members would be arrested on the same day on which they would begin their preparation for the march.

Meanwhile, the government has also formed a committee to take notice of Imran Khan and Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan’s statement. Mahmood Khan, just a day earlier, had said that he would use the resources of KP if Khan would give a call for the march.

“When Imran Khan will again give a call for the long march after the six-day ultimatum ends, I am telling you that I will use Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s force,” said the chief minister.
