In Rawalpindi, citizens took to the streets to protest against the terrible increase in the price of electricity.

Citizens took to the streets to protest against the alarming rise in electricity bills.

They protested in front of the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IISCO) office in Kahuta. A large number of citizens stormed the Kahuta sub-division office.

Citizens tried to forcibly enter the IISCO office and also tried to break it when the gate was closed.

Consumers say that electricity does not come, but bills are being sent for thousands. The electricity bills have been increased so much that they are unable to pay.
