Rs4 per litre cut likely in petrol prices from May 1

Petrol and diesel prices are likely to drop across the country from the first of next month – May.

According to sources of oil marketing companies, the possibility of reduction in the prices of petroleum products has been shown from May 1. The price of petrol is expected to decrease by Rs4 and a half per liter while the price of diesel is expected to decrease by Rs6 per liter.

It should be noted that a few days ago, Minister of State for Petroleum Mossadik Malik had said that in a few weeks we will receive the cargo of petroleum products. Hopefully there will be good news regarding petroleum products by Eidul Azha.

Earlier, the price of petrol was increased by Rs 10 per liter after which the new price of petrol increased from Rs 272 to Rs 282 per litre.
