Russian ambassador to the United States has warned Washington to refrain from its hostile flights near Russian borders after the recent drone incident.

According to media reports, after the destruction of the US drone on the Black Sea, there is now a verbal shelling between Russia and the United States.

Russia’s ambassador to the United States warned Washington to refrain from its hostile flights near Russian borders.

“We expect the United States to refrain from further speculation in the media and also from its aggressive and hostile flights close to Russian borders,” he said.

The Russian ambassador added that they will see any armed action of the United States as open hostility.

Earlier on Tuesday, a US military MQ-9 surveillance drone crashed into the Black Sea after being intercepted by Russian fighter jets.

The Pentagon said that one of the Russian Su-27 fighters hit the drone’s propeller, rendering it inoperable, while the Russian defense ministry attributed the crash to the unmanned drone’s “sharp maneuvering” and denied that any of their aircraft made contact with it.
