Science exhibition held at Thatta girls’ school

A science exhibition was held at Government Girls High School Makli Thatta here on Saturday to promote and project the hidden skills of students.

Students from different schools of the district took part in the exhibition and put on display various models related to different subjects such as chemistry, biology, physics, and projects depicting various scientific concepts.

People from different walks of life, including parents, teachers and social activists, visited the exhibition and called it a commendable effort of the school education department.

An inspection team formed by the director of school education was also present to evaluate the performance of students. The head of that team Nazir Ahmed Memon said that the sole aim behind organising such events was to encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities.

He further added that ”these kinds of events nourish the hidden skills of students and help us make them socially active and aware of every aspect of our society.”

He appreciated the fact that despite limited resources, the students were up to the mark with their work and said that it was the spirit required to put this country on the path of progress.

These events are being held across all public sector schools of Hyderabad division, in line with the directions issued by director schools education Sindh, he said.
