Section 144 imposed in Lower South Waziristan

South Waziristan: The district administration of Lower South Waziristan has imposed restrictions under Section 144 following security concerns in the area.

Deputy Commissioner said the decision was taken as a precautionary measure to ensure peace and maintain law and order.

Under the restrictions, the movement of people and traffic on several routes has been limited during specific hours.

The administration announced that roads in Wana, Tiarza, Karikot and the route from Toi Khula to Gul Kach will remain closed from 6am to 7pm.

Officials said the measures were introduced due to security-related concerns and will remain effective until further orders.

The district administration has urged citizens to cooperate with security measures and follow official instructions.
