To commemorate the life, service and sacrifices of all martyrs, a seminar titled ‘Shaheed Ki Jo Muat Hai Wo Qoum Ki Hayat Hai’ was organized by family of Captain Salman Sarwar Shaheed (Sitar-e-Basalat).
The event was held at Al-Hamra Arts Council Lahore where a huge number of families of shuhada (martyrs) attended the event and participated with high spirits and devotion.
Mother of Captain Tariq shaheed, mother of Lieutenant Nasir Hussain Sulehria Shaheed, father of Captain Ukasha Shaheed and guest speakers from all segments of society including renowned writer Asghar Nadeem Syed, former federal secretary Muhammad Asif, Brigadier (R) Nadir Mir and Muhammad Azam also attended the event and expressed their gratitude and solidarity with all the families of the martyrs.
Earlier, students from various schools expressed their solidarity by singing the national songs. A short documentary on the life of Captain Salman Sarwar Shaheed (Sitar-e-Basalat) was displayed for the audience.
The seminar ended with prayers for the Pakistan.
