Senior PPP leader Sindar Ali Mandhro passes away

The senior PPP leader Senator Dr. Sindar Ali Mandhro passed away in the US on Saturday. Dr. Mandhro, who was one of the trusted land loyal leaders of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) passed away in the United States where he had been under treatment for two months.

He was 81. Dr. Mandhro, remained close to the late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and after that to Benazir Bhutto, who was elected MPA six times from Badin district. He remained loyal to the party through thick and thin.

Dr. Mandhro had to go into exile during the Zia regime. The senior PPP leader also remained provincial minister twice. He was elected Senator in 2017.

According to his family members, he died of cancer and his body would be brought to Pakistan. “He will be laid to rest in an ancestral graveyard near Badin town after his arrival’ added the family member.

The top PPP leaders include Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Asif Ali Zardari, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Syed Murad Ali Shah, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Mohammad Ismail Rahu and others expressed their grief over the death of Dr. Mandhro.
