Shah Rukh Khan becomes fourth-richest actor in world

Shah Rukh Khan, the leading star of Bollywood hasn’t had a major release in the last four years but despite that, he still manages to rank on the list among the richest actors in the world. SRK has overtaken Dwayne Johnson, Tyler Perry, and Jerry Seinfeld to become the fourth wealthiest actor in the world.

The sole Indian actor on the list, SRK, has a net worth of $770 million, or INR6, 306 crores, according to the “Richest Actors in the World” list published by World of Statistics on Twitter on Sunday. Jerry, an American comedian, and actor with a $1 billion net worth tops the list.

The 57-year-old actor endorses 14 brands, such as Hyundai, ICICI, Byju’s, BigBasket, Tag Heuer, and Lux. Apart from that, Red Chillies Entertainment, his production company, has been very successful with blockbusters like Badla and the Netflix original Bard of Blood.

According to Forbes data, SRK earns an average of $38 million every year, which is roughly equivalent to Rs 313 crore. With annual earnings of Rs 124.38 crores, SRK was ranked sixth on Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list for 2019.

He also receives income from his ownership of an Indian Premier League franchise. Both the West Indian domestic T20 league team T&T Knight Riders and Kolkata Knight Riders are owned by SRK.
