Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan jolts box office with massive advance booking

Pathaan, the eagerly anticipated Shah Rukh Khan movie, is already doing better than expected at the Indian box office courtesy of a surge in advance ticket purchases.

According to the ticket sales, it appears that SRK fans are unconcerned with the problems surrounding the movie and are making sure they get to see their favorite hero in the role of an Indian spy, Pathaan, on the big screen.

The Hindi and Telugu versions of Pathaan have reportedly sold the most tickets nationwide, according to Indian media.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, it has already generated a gross collection of 140 million Indian rupees. Out of the INR140 million, the NCR region contributes INR17.9 million and Mumbai contributes the same amount.

The advance sales estimates also include significant contributions from Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. Pathaan is anticipated to make roughly INR 400 million on its first day of release, as per Indian media.

After a four-year absence, SRK returns to a lead role in Pathaan.

Pathaan, a spy thriller directed by Siddharth Anand, also prominently features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The movie is slated to premiere on January 25.
